This proposal outlines the process and cost for converting your Jazz Etudes and Duets books to Lulu for printing and shipping as well as showing you how to manage your Lulu account for measuring sales and adding new books. The initial editions for Jazz Etudes and Duets will be Bass clef, Bb, and C.
The first step is to convert each book to a size conforming to Lulu’s available sizes. The closest size is A4 (8.27 x 11.69) and the book converts well to this size. The printing cost per book is just under $8 per book. See the available book sizes here.
The next step is to create a one-sheet cover that is a separate upload to the book creator process.
I will perform the above steps plus:
- Establishing a Lulu account and connecting bobmcchesney.com to Lulu
- Editing the new products within bobmcchesney.com
- Editing the web page to include the three editions for cart and checkout
- Creating tutorial videos demonstrating the conversion process for a new book size within Acrobat, the cover creation process, and the uploading of a new book project within Lulu.
For the implementation of the above, the cost will be $50/hour, not to exceed four hours of billable work.
For additional books created and uploaded into Lulu by Bob, the editing of book products and web site pages will be billed at $50/hour, each book not to exceed one hour of billable work.
Once this proposal is accepted I will begin the work immediately for Jazz Etudes and Duets, and upon after the books, one will be printed and shipped to Bob for evaluation prior to the web site pages being edited to include the new books printed on demand.
